Happy Father’s Day

We spent the last two weeks talking all about our dad’s and the special people in our lives! The children had a great time eating breakfast with their dad’s and making them a special gift.

Moving up!

We talked all about moving up to the big 4 year old room! Even though some of our friends are still 3 years old and will be staying with Miss Nicole & Miss Fay, we have a few friends who will be moving to the big 4’s in just a few weeks! Our moving up ceremony will be Tuesday, June 19th at 6:00pm in the gymnasium.

In the Garden

This week we talked all about the types of food and vegetables that grow in a garden. We talked about strawberries, grapes, carrots, beans and flowers. We made our own class garden too!

Down in the Dirt

This week we learned about the type of bugs that live down in the dirt. We talked about lady bugs, spiders, ants, caterpillars and worms. We even went on a bug hunt outside to see if we could find any bugs!! We found ants, spiders, and worms!

A Trip to the Zoo

We talked all about the different types of animals that we see at the Zoo. The children had a variety of favorite zoo animals, but the most popular was a Monkey! We completed many different projects around zoo animals and we even watched a short video on different zoo animals.

Reminders:

  • Friday, May 11th will be our Mother’s Day breakfast from 6:30-9:00am in your child’s classroom. You are welcome to have breakfast with your child when you drop them off in the morning!

Rainbows

Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Purple!

This week we learned all about Rainbows. We discussed what colors are in the rainbow and how a rainbow forms in the sky. By the end of the week the children learned that when it rains out, it can form a beautiful rainbow in the sky!
